AC Milan has taken interest in David Beckham and will soon find out if they have permission to borrow Becks for 3 months, but now Ancelotti has said that he would like to keep Beckham permanently. Beckham is considering joining Milan so that he can stay in contention for an England squad place during the U.S. Major League Soccer close season. "We can confirm that talks are taking place with Milan with regard to a short-term loan move at the start of next year," a statement on Beckham's official website said on Friday.
"Perhaps we will only be useful to him because we will train him but he could be useful to us, even if it was only for one game." "We will not consider him a tourist but a fully-fledged player who will insert himself into the squad without problems and compete with the others." Ancelotti said.
I'd say the loan for Becks is a pretty good move. I mean, this is an excellent opportunity for him to return to legit soccer and playing for AC Milan is better training than any type of an MLS workout could ever be. But to actually sign with AC Milan? I would definitely have to say yes. Of course I still think he should have stayed with Real Madrid because I'm more partial to La Liga than I am to Serie A. But still, AC Milan is one of the top clubs in the world, so why not play for them. I mean come on, LA Galaxy or AC Milan? MLS or European football? Yeah, I would have to go with AC Milan.

Yeah, there's no question here at what should happen, but it depends on how you look at it. For the MLS its probably a good thing for Beckham to leave for a while, but for AC Milan I think they're getting a pretty uselss player. All he does is get injured.
