Hey all, "The" Football Einstein here. Today i would like to extend my most sincere apologies to anyone who has ever read something that i have written. I don't know what has been happening these past few weeks but it is all complete and utter bullshit. How is my record on the season 1-3? I'm stepping up to the plate and picking hard games and this is how i've been repaid. I tend to not believe in conspiracy theories but this strikes me as odd. Me, the self proclaimed smartest man alive, picking this many consecutive games incorrectly. Something's up. This doesn't happen. Even the experts agree with me. Now i don't just pick with the experts, but we have the same logic in the way that we pick. I even try for an upset every once and a while. But this has just gotten outrageous.
What could it be? I'm doing everything right. For example, last week i picked the Colts. They had all of their offensive starters back. There was no way that they should have lost that game to the Packers. But they went out there and got killed. What happened? Did there coach tell them to go out there and lose? Or maybe he didn't make it obvious. He just made some decisions that cost them the game because he had money on the Pack. Now i don't mean to throw Tony Dungy under the bus here, but if i see him i am going to literally throw him under a bus for ruining my record.
So i've decided to take this week off because this stuff has gotten in my head. I need the break so i can come back better than ever. That's right, i might actually get another one right.
