Despite injuries, Manchester United is still rolling

After all the recent injuries Manchester United has had, they still have managed to continue their game winning streak to 4. Last week against Aalborg Paul Scholes left early into the game which we later found out suffered medial ligament damage and will be out for approximately 10 weeks, Rafael Da Silva left later into the game, and Wayne Rooney left in the second half with an ankle injury.

Yesterday Manchester beat the Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in quite a downpour of rain. The starting lineup was
Van der Sar; Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra , Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Rooney, Ronaldo, and Berbatov.

Sir Alex chose for an attacking lineup to extend a three game winning streak, with Dimitar Berbatov and Cristiano Ronaldo selected upfront alongside Rooney, who overcame an ankle injury sustained in Tuesday's win against Aalborg. Darren Fletcher slid a clear wide and Giggs forced a great save from Brown, but the Reds took the lead from the following corner. Just after the hour mark came the second goal. Brown sped out of defence and found Ronaldo, who then passed it off to Rooney to stylishly finish into the top corner. Rooney Rooney Rooney, what can't this kid do? Yes I say kid, he made his debut with United at the age of 18, and is now only 22, yet he plays like a world class athlete already. That goal is his third in a week and is even more impressive just coming off an ankle injury. Blackburn could count themselves lucky to suffer only a two goal loss after being absolutely dominated throughout the match. The beginning of the season had me a little worried about Manchester United, but week in and week out they keep proving me wrong, and this United team looks like it is approaching its' world class form.
