Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he sees himself staying at Manchester United next season. The 23 year old was at the center of this summer's longest running transfer saga as Spanish giants Real Madrid sought to obtain the Portugal superstar away from Old Trafford. Ronaldo revealed at the time that he was keen to play for Madrid, but ultimately announced he was going to stay with United for "another year at least". However, Ronaldo's latest comments have made it seem like he is here to stay, for a little longer at least. When asked where he was going to play next season, Ronaldo said: "Only God knows the future. I insist that I am a Manchester United player and now I think that next year I will continue here." "He listened to my arguments and I listened to his. Now I understand that it was the correct decision. I am with Manchester United body and soul." His comments are made about Sir Alex Ferguson.
As a United fan I'm so glad that he is finally back. And I don't understand why he wouldn't want to come back. Manchester United were only the champions of Europe last season, which he helped quite a bit in. Hopefully more United fans can finally accept this and see it as a good thing instead of the normal complaining the he flops and he's immature. Every soccer players flops, one thing that I hate about the game. And he's 23 years old, and easily is one of the best players in the world. If I had that kind of talent, fame, and fortune at the age, heck, I would probably more immature than him. But Ronaldo is showing progressions in becoming mature. Personally I think he matured during the champions league last year, he was calm in crucial moments and he had some extremely important goals. So I say, fabulous choice Ronaldo!
