There has been a little squabble going on the past few weeks in the NFL. Brandon Marshall and Joey party have been having quite the war of words. Sure it's childish, but damn is it entertaining too.
Those two just can't seem to leave the talking on the field. The most recent development is the best one yet. After Porter and the Dolphins spanked the Broncos 26 to 17 on Sunday, Brandon Marshall, who only had 2 catches, couldn't hold it in. He called out Porter again. This time, he called him "soft" and said that he has "popcorn muscles". I'm not sure what popcorn muscles are but if Porter has popcorn muscles, they can't be too bad. He leads the league in sacks with 11 1/2. Marshall also went on to make fun of Joey's nickname, Peezy. He claims to not know what Peezy means. I believe it's a disease popular in canines but that's beside the point. He finally said that he heard stories about Porter dancing in the club with his shirt off, "like a girl". We all do it so don't make fun.
This is childish, yeah, but come on! Grown men tossing around insults like they're on the playground. You gotta love this. I hope that this goes on for the rest of the season. It's too much fun for it to stop. Now if you'll excuse me, i have to go work on my popcorn muscles.
